Ming Chen

Ming Chen is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Born in China, she has a diverse academic background in Chinese literature, economics, developmental psychology, and fine arts. Her artistic practice explores the intersection of memory, time, and materiality. Inspired by everyday interactions, familial bonds, and natural landscapes, Ming merges contemporary and traditional techniques, integrating Chinese ink and watercolor with unconventional materials. Through her art, she captures fleeting moments of daily life, transforming them into timeless snapshots imbued with tranquility and quiet beauty.

Ming earned her MFA from Claremont Graduate University. Her work has been featured in various juried exhibitions, including Soliloquy at The Scholart Selection in San Gabriel, CA, and the 19th Annual Greater Los Angeles MFA Exhibition. Her paintings have been collected in the USA, China, and Australia. Ming is also the founder of the Ming Chen Art Foundation, dedicated to supporting local artists and promoting art education.

Yutong Tina Jiang

Tina Jiang is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Her work examines the conversation between past and present, collective history, and personal agency. By bridging historical symbolism with contemporary concerns, she invites audiences to engage with cultural heritage in new and thought-provoking ways. Through interactive installations, she transforms passive observation into participatory experience, encouraging viewers to question inherited beliefs and redefine identity on their own terms.

With a background in design, Jiang earned her BA in Design from UC Davis in 2023 and is currently an MFA candidate at Claremont Graduate University. In fall 2025, she will begin USC’s MS in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology program.
